Texttile is the independent design studio of Daniel O. Williams. Started in
2006 after moving from New York City to Cottonwood, Arizona, the studio is based around a clean,
focussed, problem-solving approach to design. Its strength is in pedagogic design, forms, and identity.
Dan has been working in art and design since college.
For the last ten years he
has worked on professional projects from cartography to packaging and series design.
He has an interest in the intersection of modern design, usability, and emotion. As an artist,
Dan works primarily in pen and ink, using a mix of abstract and representational
forms to create intricate systems of semi-organic growth. Texttile is the formal outlet of these abstract artistic ideas.
